THERA-SEA RETREATS

~ Reconnecting to what keeps us well.

RELAX | RESET | REWILD

Where do the Cornish adventures take place?

Our stunning new location on the Helford River, which is within 50 acres of magical meadow gardens and woodland with idylic private beaches. The isolated location provides the perfect place for guests to immerse themselves in nature, disconnect from the outside world, and unwind.

In terms of accommodation, there are options to suit all budgets and preferences from communal single beds to deluxe king room with ensuite and sea views. We also have fully accessible rooms to cater for any disabilities. The scene is wild, creative and peaceful.

What can you expect from our rewilding adventure?

Thera-Sea’s off-grid experiences focus on bringing mental health back to basics. We incorporating different techniques into the adventures such as cold-water therapy through wild swimming, challenging yourself with ocean sports, and education through self development workshops in the wilderness.

By day, you will be invited to reconnect to the natural environment by learning bushcraft skills such as building shelters and fires, going wild swimming in the river, foraging, or relaxing. During the evenings, join us on night-time strolls through the forest, experience torch-lit trips along the Helford River, huddle around the fire pit, relax with a book, stargaze, and watch Thera-Sea’s resident chef cook up a feast on the open fire.

It’s not just about activity and adventure

What truly sets Thera-Sea apart from other adventures is the educational twist and practical advice shared by company founder Katy Griffin.
Thera-Sea does not believe in quick fix solutions for such complex issues. Instead, Katy has combined her 13 years of clinical experience, personal experience, scientific research and case histories to present a broad perspective workbook for participants which is delivered via the retreats. The workshops are uplifting and informative which allows the participants to advance their own awareness and skills set around mental health as well as the people around them.
